Love is in the air as February 14th quickly approaches, better to purchase early than wind up with supermarket flowers. For men purchasing lingerie can be tricky and in this post I will attempt to give you advice and tips for choosing the right type and style. Women too, can give the gift of lingerie and simply wear it as a gift. Depending on your combined tastes you will want to select from one of the following styles

Baby Dolls - Baby dolls are made of sheer fabric, and consist of shaped bra cups with an attached loose-fitting skirt that comes down to anywhere between the navel and the hips. They generally have matching panties. Baby Dolls are the staple lingerie item. When most people think about lingerie they are most likely thinking about this style. Longer less sheer baby dolls are perfect for the woman who is looking for a little more coverage, while the sheer and brief styles work awesome for the uninhibited. Baby dolls look especially good on women with larger busts.
Body stockings - A body stocking is a one-piece snug-fitting undergarment for women, generally made of nylon that covers the entire torso. These can be a little hard to get in and out of, which you may find to be fun or to be a chore, you may just wind up tearing it off anyway. Unless you have done the lingerie thing with your partner a bunch of times, however, I would not recommend this style.
Bustiers -A bustier is a sleeveless woman’s top, generally strapless, that hangs from under the breasts to the waist. sexy bustiers can be worn as either evening wear, or as lingerie. The bustier helps you achieve that desirable hourglass shape. It tightens the waist and lifts the breasts. With a matching panty you have a hot setup for the evening.
Corset - A corset is a foundation garment which is stiffened, generally with bone, possibly elasticized, and laced in the back. Much like the bustier, it is designed to lift and support the breasts and reduce the size of the waist, but since it is stiffer and generally laces up it is able to take this to the next level. It may also have attachments at the bottom to hold up stockings.
Camisoles - A camisole is a woman’s undergarment with shoulder straps that covers the bust and hangs down to the waist, either tight-fitting or loose. A Camisole generally shows the belly area so it is perfect for women whose stomach is one of her best features.
Teddies - The teddy is much like a one piece bathing suit. Or you could think of it as a one-piece undergarment, consisting of a chemise and panties combined. Like in swimwear there is a lot of variation with some of these one pieces having the sides cut out. Teddys provide good coverage but should be avoided by brief women who may find it hard to find the right size which will cause it to ruffle.
