Wanting to start a new business, but not a too compromising one, Donna DiFelice decided to turn into the internet for help. She found her answer in the internet; open a lingerie web site. “I decided that [the Internet] was the best business for me,” she explained. Lingerie Shelf ( www.LingerieShelf.com ) is the name of the website, and it offers quality lingerie at reasonable and affordable prices. Making her own hours hasn't stopped Donna from working overtime on her new store, selecting her products carefully. "I looked at numerous vendors," she says, "and I narrowed it down and tried to find something that I could relate to. I think people shopping on the web want to find variety, not one or two products; they don't want to go to a lot of different web sites to get a couple of items."

Donna focuses her energy on helping her clientele by opening a blog at www.LingerieShelf.net to better get to know her customers. "I want to communicate that I participate in the business, even though you can't see me," says Donna. "I am here, and their satisfaction is my priority. I want to talk about my products, but I also want feedback from people who have used the products. They should know that I'm not just a faceless person -- I am somebody that cares that they are sized correctly and that they're happy with the product."

In the future, Donna hopes to expand her catalog, as well as branching out with other web sites offering alternate product lines.
